Basketball is everything for these young females athletes. For most of them, is the way that they aspire to make a living out of. They practice and practice continuously untill it’s perfect. Never giving up. When I met with one of the University of Texas say El Paso’s girls basketball team player I asked her what’s the hardest part about losing, and I remember clearly she said “It’s either we win or we learn. Never a loss.” Since then, that’s the way I’ve been trying to live, by accepting the fact that we aren’t failures, and we don’t lose, we just experience and learn.
