As a basketball enthusiast and taking the 6th position at the FIBA photo contest in 2018, I saw the need to introduce basketball to young people in rural areas especially in the most forgotten places in my country. December 2018 I started my first basketball outreach to the Fulani village in Ekiti state with other volunteers to educate young people on basketball, where I also donated my FIBA photo contest 2018 prize ( the ball and the basket). Here children have never seen or touch a ball before not even watch the game on television as they have no electricity and no sense exposure. In the picture is one of our volunteer holding the net with children while the head of the village hold the ball to show the children the game before the net is finally fixed to the rim.
