If we look to the population of the different countries, Lithuania is probably one of the most succesful basketball national teams. With about three millions, it could seem strange that such a small country can give so many great players to this sport. Not so strange when you travel around Lithuania and check how many improvised courts are all around the country. Any place is good enough to play. I took this photo in the province of Alytus (Lithuania)
